Look Multimedia Ltd is a specialist publishing company founded in 1991. The company's mission is to publish original material - in any medium - which is of strong interest to specialised groups. In each specialist area we aim to create communities of shared interests around the topics concerned.
In 2018 Look will publish the first full English translation of the Russian novelist Yuri Tynianov's Death of the Vazir-Mukhtar. The novel is recognised as a masterpiece from the creative outpouring of the 1920s Soviet Union. Look will use the novel and other material to create a social-media hub and provide materials for access and discussion for Russianists worldwide.
Other plans will cater for specialist groups in very different areas. In particular Look will return to earlier research on the development of internet coverage and technology. We will use this provide original material and other resources for historians and amateurs of the history of data communications.
